Advancing Racial Justice in Our Communities
Themes explored include current issues on racism, particularly in the wake of increased violence, police use of force, and unrest on college campuses. Dr. Jackson speaks on the need to address shifting the thought from "achievement gap" to "opportunity gap" when explaining the differences in accomplishment along racial, ethnic, and gender lines. We are looking for inspiration for all of us to work together to be part of the solution to create programs and influence policy both in education and in our communities.
